Technical Officer
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC
- Performing and completing scheduled preventive maintenance jobs for biomedical system by following manufacturer's instructions and checklist.
- Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns jobs for equipment by following manufacturer's instructions.
- Troubleshooting and assisting user department on network connectivity related issues for equipment.
- Ordering and expediting parts orders for breakdowns jobs.
- Ensuring scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdowns jobs for equipment are completed within KPI or reasonable timeframe with justification provided.
- Liaising with users and vendors to ensure minimum impact to user department’s operations.
- Assisting user department on their equipment inventory.
- Attending technical training on equipment and systems scheduled by Engineer.
- Understand IT and Cybersecurity related matters for equipment and systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Engineering Diploma + 2 years working experience or Engineering NITEC (National Institute of Technical Education Certificate) + 6 years working experience. Fresh graduate with Biomedical Engineering Diploma may also be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Preference would be given for experience in a Hospital or Healthcare industry. Possesses technical and analytical knowledge in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance for equipment.
Knowledge in IT, Cybersecurity and Integration for equipment and systems will be an advantage.
