Diploma in Civil Engineering/Building Services/Real Estate Management with 3 years working experience in building maintenance or related field.
Higher Nitec or Equivalent in Building Services or other related courses in building maintenance with 5 years working experience in building maintenance or related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge in building repairs and troubleshooting of defective carpentry, masonry, auto-doors, floor and ceiling works, investigate and curing of water seepages and leakages and their solutions.
Has good skills in liaising with end users and co-ordination of works with end users and external vendors and in-house technicians.
Knowledge in implementing solutions and improvements to enhance productivity and cost-saving processes.
JOB SCOPE OF TECHNICAL OFFICER IN BUILDING TRADE:
To assist Engineers in the daily job distributions to technicians, monitoring their progress and closure of the Work Request (WR) on time upon job completion.
Assist and guide technicians in troubleshooting of site problems including sharing of knowledge with them to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Meeting up with end users on the defects feedback and work improvements proposed by them.
Prepare job scope for calling of ITQ (Invitation to Quote) and conduct site show-round.
Carry out evaluation and clarifications for ITQ submissions including raising of Purchase Requisition.
Plan and prepare Preventive Maintenance schedule for auto-doors and blast doors.
