Technical Officer

You are required to perform duties for a broad scope and complexity of biomedical and scientific equipment relating to preventive maintenance and breakdown services as well as ensuring patient safety and safe usage of biomedical and scientific equipment through maintenance, testing and calibration.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform and complete scheduled preventive maintenance jobs for biomedical and scientific equipment by following manufacturer's instructions and checklist.

· Troubleshoot and repair biomedical and scientific equipment by following manufacturer's instructions.

· Troubleshoot and assist user department on NGEMR-related issues for biomedical and scientific equipment.

· Order and expedite parts orders for breakdown jobs.

· Ensure scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdowns jobs for biomedical and scientific equipment are completed within KPI targets, or reasonable timeframe with justifications provided.

· Liaise with user department, biomedical and scientific equipment vendors to ensure impact to user’s operations are minimized.

· Assist user department on their biomedical and scientific equipment inventory.

· Attend technical training on biomedical and scientific equipment arranged by Training Coordinator.

· Understand IT, Cybersecurity and EMR Integration related matters for biomedical and scientific equipment.

Requirements

· Engineering Diploma + 2 years working experience or Engineering NITEC (National Institute of Technical Education Certificate) + 6 years working experience. Fresh graduate with Engineering Diploma may also be considered.

· Possess technical knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance for medical devices.

· Knowledge in IT, Cybersecurity and EMR Integration for biomedical and scientific equipment will be an advantage.
