Storekeeper
Position: Storekeeper
Department: Dietetics and Catering Services
Job Description:
The storekeeper is responsible for the receipt and inspection of all incoming goods for the food services, including sorting, picking and distributing supplies to all requesting departments/wards. He/She is required to perform record keeping, data entry, monitor stock movement, and assist with return of damaged goods, while maintaining cleanliness and good housekeeping of the store area.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect all incoming goods from vendors for the kitchen.
2. Assist in ensuring that stock levels are always maintained at the authorized levels, including during emergencies.
3. Distribute dry ration to the wards on daily basis.
4. Store and issue items to the kitchen/department/wards.
5. Perform daily posting and issue of dry ration and cooking items to the kitchen.
6. Weigh and pack dry rations for issue to the wards.
7. Assist the Senior Storekeeper in laying out and issuing of dry rations to the wards and kitchen.
8. Maintain neat and proper storage conditions of the general stores.
9. Assist in carrying out dry ration checks in the wards.
10. Assist the Senior Storekeeper with record keeping and data entry task.
11. Maintain the accuracy of the stock levels at all times.
12. Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Educational and Professional Requirements
1. Min GCE ‘O’ level / NTC 2 with at least 1-2 years of store-related experience
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
