Sr/Pharmacist - Informatics

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to maintenance and improvement of safe care, productivity or value delivery through hospital and pharmacy medication management systems
    • Collaborate and liaise with a diverse range of internal and external teams, users, vendors and partners at departmental, institution, cluster or national levels on improvement initiatives
    • Aid in review of medication errors, and assist to implement preventions or detection systems
    • Offer safe informatics use advise, training and mentoring where applicable
    • Manage and resolve systems related issues with risks to patient safety
    • Maintain systems setups that ensure safety
  • Optimise and synergise improvement works to clinical, operational or administrative systems.
  • Lead and facilitate in transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate business continuity and ensure dependability of systems for the smooth operations.
  • Facilitate integration and interoperability of information systems and automation systems for medications across patient care continuum.
  • Manage and support data and analytics initiatives
  • Manage pharmacy informatics systems and technology related budgets:
  • Conduct user acceptance tests for new information system/automation system projects and enhancements.
  • Engaging and communicating with peers and fellow professionals for requirements and operational needs, and lead or facilitate change management.
  • Prioritize delivery of safe and excellent medication workflow user and customer experience

Requirements

  • • Fully registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council
    • Bachelor in Pharmacy
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in patient care related work
    • In depth understanding of pharmacy workflows in Public Healthcare Institution
    • Experience in pharmacy or medical informatics work and concepts
    • Excellent business sense with problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Self-driven and quick learner with good motivation at picking up technical skills and languages such as MS SQL and Python
    • Prefer to have knowledge and experience of change management. Ability to inspire and lead in transformations
