Sr/Executive, Data eXchange Unit
You will be part of Data Exchange Unit (DXU) team within the Office of Clinical Epidemiology, Analytics, and kNowledge (OCEAN), Management Information Department (MID). You will support and work closely with the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) Chief Data Officer (iCDO) to drive TTSH’s data strategy, manage its data assets, and facilitate data exploitation, in compliance with national policies on data governance and management.
The Challenges
- Manage a data request platform to facilitate data requests by TTSH staff and users from institutions within NHG cluster, and assist to put in place protocol that complies with relevant data access, sharing, and security policies.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand data request needs and facilitate smooth and efficient information/data extraction and processing that meet requesters’ needs and requirements.
- Assist to develop, review and update all relevant TTSH data-related policies to ensure alignment with Ministry of Health’s (MOH) and National Healthcare Group’s (NHG) data policies.
- Monitor, track, and be well versed in all data management policies and practices so as to provide advice to stakeholders on policy requirements.
- Assist in collaborative effort with relevant TTSH departments/units to build staff literacy, competency, capabilities, and knowledge in safe, efficient, and effective data exploitation and management.
- Provide secretariat support to relevant TTSH committees.
- Assist in change management, engagements, and communications with different levels of stakeholders, on issues pertaining to data management, data sharing, and data exploitation.
The Requirements
- Preferably Degree in Information Management, Management Information Systems, Communication, Business or related fields
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a healthcare setting with clinical or healthcare informatics experience will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with and/or working knowledge of data management, handling, and governance, and the regulatory requirements pertaining to the usage and sharing of data will be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong writing ability is highly desirable.
