Sr Security Officer
Primary Responsibilities:[Carparks and Robotics]
To assist security supervisor and/or executives/managers for daily security & Car park tasks.
This role includes involvement in technology and robotics implementation including integrated security management systems and autonomous mobile robots.
To assist in planning and implementation of physical security measures in alignment with management instructions.To assist to conduct audit and risk assessment to strengthen Security & Car park operations.Access card management including programming, ordering, printing and doing card extraction.Access card system management to work with vendor to improve system.Verification of attendance and claims submitted by all security officers.
To assist in ensuring records in access card and carpark system are accurate.Assist with task relating to improvement projects under the security department assigned by his / her Supervisor and / or Manager.Assist with supervisor’s duties as covering officer when supervisor is not around.Incident management of security issues as needed.
Assist with daily operations of robotics systems including security robots and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) including basic troubleshooting and may be involved in additional projects to expand robotics fleet.
Contribute to implementing technology and process improvement for security and robotics to enhance productivity.Any other duties as assigned by his / her Supervisor and / or Manager.This is an office hour role but may require performing of shift work (including night) and overtime subject to operational requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities:[Security]
Patrol hospital premises (internal and external) to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and to ensure security of key installations.Preserve order and protect property.Ensure smooth flow of vehicles entering / exiting the hospital premises.Assist in car park operations through enforcement of orderly parking (including wheel clamping) within hospital premises.Enforce on no-smoking within hospital compound.Provide support to general and directional queries from member of public, patients and / or staffs.Attend to all enquires promptly and / or panic calls response via Security Control Room (SCR) in a professional manner to any emergency.Assist relevant department in handling uncooperative / unruly / violent patient in a safe manner.Assist to clear visitors at the wards after hospital visiting hours.Escort patient to other Medical Institution as and when required.Provide security coverage for functions organised by Hospital.Assist in car park operation when system malfunctions as assigned by superiors.Function as official VIP escort / traffic warden when required.Monitors and operates CCTV when tasked.Any other duties and/or assignments as directed by superiors.
Requirements:Minimum completion of all PLRD SSO modules.
Preferably Diploma Education and above in security management, administration or a technical field.
Good understanding of access control, CCTV and video analytics systems.
Advanced excel skills for data generation and management.
Preferably with technical background/experience and/or basic understanding of robotics system with experience in operating or troubleshooting issues.
Good administrative skills.Keen interest in technology and systems management.
Preferably 4 years and above of relevant experience in physical security, facilities, or a related field.Relevant experience in healthcare environment will be an advantage.
Possess a valid PLRD Identification Card (minimally SSO).
