Sr Research Fellow
JOB SUMMARY
· Support Project Lead in execution of evaluation activities to examine impact of Project on clinical and operational outcomes
· Supports Project Lead in creation of Logic Models and Implementation evaluation models to better examine how Project has impacted care
· Supports Project Lead in drafting and collation of information for progress reports to funders and stakeholders.
· Drives drafting of manuscripts and scientific reports under direction of Project Lead.
· Identifies potential platforms for sharing and dissemination of findings e.g. conferences, journals to publish in.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research activities for Carer Matters
1. Support execution of evaluation activities.
2. Support Project Lead in development of Logic Models and Implementation evaluation models
3. Supports interviewing and data collection of key stakeholders of Project, coding and analysis of interviews.
4. Guides Research Assistant and additional personnel supporting research activities, ensuring activities are in compliance with Singapore guidelines and regulations by governing bodies.
5. Leads writing up of findings including publications.
6. Project’s primary point of contact for audits by Institutional Review Board and Health Services Authority.
7. Supports Project lead in applications for competitive grants to expand and grow Project as required.
Professional Development
1. Constantly evaluates own performance based on the professional practice standards and clinical requirement/ competency to identify areas of strength/weakness and professional development needs.
2. Possesses knowledge of the institutional research governance, Good Clinical Practice and legislation relating to research.
3. Attends relevant research-related meetings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- · Masters’/PhD qualification in nursing, social sciences, healthcare, public health or related discipline
- · Experienced in the conduct of qualitative/quantitative research and data analysis including relevant publications
- · Experienced in the leading of a research team
- · Experience supporting research projects and bringing them to successful completion
