Sr Pharmacy Tech

1. Processing of Prescriptions 

• Competent in the execution of daily duties involving patient registration, accurately labelling medication orders and packing of medications in compliance to NSC pharmacy operational guidlines

2. Medication Interventions

• Skilled in performing simple interventions such as amendment of drug quantity to comply with NSC pharmacy guidelines
• Able to detect and intervene on drug-related problems and clarify with doctors or pharmacists as needed

3. Medication Dispensing and Patient Counselling

• Able to carry out drug allergy checks and dispense medicines to patients with relevant counseling points in compliance with NSC pharmacy guidelines

4. Maintenance of Medication Safety Standards

• Familiar with the medication safety practices in NSC pharmacy and uphold high patient safety standards

5. Handling of General Enquiries from Patients

• Able to respond to patients' enquiries on medication supply, drug-related issues, product information and pharmacy services in a professional manner

6. Display Quality Service to Patient

• Exhibit good communication skills and service to the patients in accordance with the department's quality and service excellence standards
