Sr Patient Information Associate
Reporting to the Executive(s), the Senior Patient Information Associate will:
1. Assess and follow through bed requests in accordance to the bed allocation workflows. Ensure smooth operations of Operations Command Centre operations
which include the core function / operations of Bed Management (BMU).
2. Update Bed Management operational reports and assist in the preparation of Operations Command Centre management reports.
3. Demonstrate good telephone skills, in line with Service Excellence Standards.
4. Familiar with measures to tackle bed tight situation
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support 24-7 roster for Bed Management & Operations Command Centre operations.
• Be familiar with the bed assignment procedure and priority of bed allocation.
• Assign beds according to requests received manually or electronically.
• Update routine census and other reports.
• Provide statistics as and when required.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills when handling internal and external customers.
• Promote collegiality and effective Teamwork.
• Seek to improve processes to achieve faster, better, affordable, safer patient care.
• Initiate and participate actively to raise productivity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Preferably minimum GCE “O” Level
• Good customer, communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferably with frontline experience
• Possess basic computer skills, with Microsoft office software knowledge
• Multi-lingual preferred, or at least 1 other language besides English
• Able to perform shifts
