Job purpose:

  • Lead and coordinate the setup and operations of the NHG ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) Perioperative Care Office to implement ERAS protocols across three hospitals. Drive strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of ERAS.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Implementation
    • Develop and execute ERAS implementation plans in alignment with cluster-wide goals.
    • Facilitate cross-institutional collaboration to harmonize perioperative workflows and protocols.

 

  1. Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage clinical leads, hospital management, and ERAS champions to ensure buy-in and alignment.
    • Support the Clinical Director in governance and reporting structures.

 

  1. Performance Monitoring
    • Track agreed and standardized NHG ERAS KPIs including process, outcome and balance measures. 
    • Analyse data to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

 

  1. Operational Oversight
    • Coordinate training, audit cycles, and resource deployment across institutions.
    • Ensure integration of ERAS pathways into electronic medical records and audit systems
    • Handle the deployment of Clinical Program Executives to the 3 NHG hospitals

 

  1. Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare quarterly reports, presentations, and updates for senior leadership and MOH 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or program management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERAS, Value Based Care, perioperative care or data analytics is a plus
