Sr Manager / Asst Director, Operations (Diagnostic Radiology)
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Assistant Director will lead, guide and oversee operational activities within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (DDR). You will partner closely with clinical leads to drive patient-centric initiatives, support strategic and transformation plans, and deliver efficient, cost-effective diagnostic radiology services.
You will support and complement the Head of Department in working with relevant stakeholders to develop and review departmental strategies and workplans, with the aim of delivering better value to patients and staff. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Supporting governance and quality assurance initiatives. Driving service improvement, workflow redesign and productivity initiatives across clinical and support teams.
- Monitoring performance through KPIs and implementing appropriate improvement measures.
- Optimising utilisation of resources to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Enhancing patient care coordination through streamlined processes and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Supporting service development, outreach programmes and stakeholder engagement.
- Assisting in financial management, including budgeting, CAPEX planning and financial sustainability.
- Providing leadership and guidance to staff and supporting staff development and engagement.
You will also support the alignment of departmental business plans with hospital and cluster strategies, and participate in department, hospital or cluster-level projects and committees, as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, a related field in Healthcare Management will be an advantage.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role; experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Prior experience in healthcare management or healthcare operations is preferred.
- Proven leadership capability, with strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- A driven, service-oriented individual who works well with diverse stakeholders.
