1. Data Collection and Management

 ·       Support electronic and manual data collection, including programming surveys and assessments into digital platforms.

·       Conduct fieldwork, such as administering surveys, conducting interviews, and facilitating focus groups with community members.

·       Ensure data quality through monitoring, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis using statistical software (e.g., Stata, R).

 2. Research Administration and Compliance

 ·       Assist with preparing materials for data collection and training sessions for field staff.

·       Support the preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and ensure compliance with ethical standards.

·       Maintain accurate records of participant consent and reimbursement, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and organizational requirements.

 

3. Data Analysis and Reporting

 ·       Conduct basic quantitative and qualitative data analyses, including descriptive statistics and coding of transcripts.

·       Collaborate with research staff to produce data visualizations and initial findings for reports and presentations.

·       Assist in literature reviews and synthesis of evidence to inform research design and interpretation.

 

4. Operational and Logistical Support

 ·       Coordinate logistics for fieldwork, including scheduling, resource allocation, and troubleshooting challenges during data collection.

·       Support the research team in administrative tasks, such as managing files, tracking progress, and assisting with grant or contract documentation.

 

6. Adherence to Research Integrity and Confidentiality

 ·       Disclose any conflicts of interest and ensure all research activities are conducted with integrity and transparency.

·       Safeguard participant data and maintain confidentiality throughout the research process.

 

A.       SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Community Engagement and Communication

 

•     Serve as a liaison between the research team and community stakeholders, ensuring research activities are culturally appropriate and responsive to community needs.

•     Represent the research team at community events and support knowledge sharing with local partners.

•     Communicate findings and updates to both internal and external stakeholders as required.
