Sr Executive
The Population Health Management (PHM) Directorate works to transform healthcare delivery in Central and North Singapore. As part of the National Healthcare Group (NHG), our ambitious goal is to add 15 million healthy years to our residents' lives.
Working as an enabler, we develop infrastructure and build capabilities across the NHG system to address social, environmental, and behavioural factors that influence health outcomes. We partner with healthcare providers and community organisations to create lasting operational and cultural change in how we deliver healthcare. We use clinical, operational, and demographic data to make healthcare more systematic, targeted, and equitable for our residents.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will support the incentives, intelligence, and evaluation work of the PHM section, with a focus on projects that incentivise integration among healthcare providers to provide value-based care.
This role works with stakeholders to:
- Create services which are valuable to NHG’s healthcare system, by providing insights from data and research.
- Enable the tracking of outcomes and key performance indicators for specific health conditions.
- Evaluate the economical aspect of services, identifying areas of potential savings to patients from across NHG’s healthcare system.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION
- Degree in economics, business administration, or public health preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of working experience, related fields are preferred.
- Demonstrated good understanding of economic theory, especially health and behavioural economics.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear analytical reports.
- Experience in data analytics and visualisation with big data, using Python, R, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and terminology will be advantageous.
