Sr Executive, Group Research

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior / Executive will support NHG Group Research Director and Assistant Manager in a variety of administrative functions, including but not limited to reporting of research and innovation KPIs, contributing to research publicity and outreach, supporting in finance operations, and other secretariat duties when required.

The candidate should possess good verbal and written communication skills. She/he will interface with various teams within Group Research to provide efficient and timely support. The candidate should be able to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team. Ability to meet deadlines and perform tasks meticulous is a must, willingness to develop analytical and critical-thinking skills will be a plus.

 

Strategic Projects

  • · Support Grp Research Director and Assistant Manager in the planning, implementation, and reporting of Research & Innovation initiatives.
  • · Assist in research publicity and outreach matters (e.g. collate nominations for annual recognition awards or provide editorial inputs for write-ups about Grp Research’s notable achievements).
  • · Coordinate communication to Strategic Committees, as well as internal and external stakeholders. 
  • · Collate inputs for Grp Research’s yearly Workplan and perform business/data analysis when required.

 

Cluster Research KPI Dashboard

  • · Liaise with different stakeholders (e.g. IT and FIN) to re-design and re-develop the cluster’s electronic dashboard to track and report research KPIs.
  • · Serve as main contact person with counterparts in institutional Clinical Research Units (CRUs) and HQ units active in research, to ensure regular and timely updates in the dashboard.
  • · Co-support in the identification and rectification of errors, as well as enhancement of features.
  • · Preparation of KPI reports to supplement Group Research’s updates about notable outcomes. 

 

Research Finance

  • · Assist in the collation of budget, projections, utilisation tracking and actualisation applicable to Group Research initiatives.
  • · Working closely with teammates to draft papers and slides, to provide timely and accurate reporting to various stakeholders.

 

Secretariat/ Administrative

  • · Supporting IC for the annual renewal of National Clinical Trial Insurance for NHG cluster.
  • · Assist in other Grp Research Secretariat/ Administrative initiatives when required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education/Training/Experience

  • University degree in any discipline.
  • Three to five years working experiences, preferably in research administration, KPIs tracking/reporting, and basic finance operations in healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel & Word) is essential.
  • Demonstrated track record of project/time management, and ability to work well with multiple internal/external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal capabilities, as well as organisational and planning skills. Able to manage time efficiently and is detail oriented.
