The Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) was formed to spearhead co-learning and innovation in healthcare, gearing up the workforce for the changes and evolution of healthcare demands. In establishing a future ready workforce, we are guided by three key thursts: Promoting a culture of innovation by creating thought leadership; achieve better health and healthcare by enabling workforce transformation; and catalyse value-based outcomes by effecting systems-level change. Enabling our strategic thrusts are a closely-connected ecosystem of strategic innovation partners, as well as innovation programmes and funding that enable projects for healthcare redesign.
Aligned with CHI’s strategic focus areas in driving innovation, the Grants and Innovation Office focuses on seeding innovation, building a healthy ecosystem and strengthening the culture of innovation.
The Opportunities
We are looking for a Senior Executive who will play a key role in curating, engaging and creating an environment of collaboration and knowledge exchange that accelerates the pace of innovation in healthcare. You will have the unique opportunity to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, thought leaders and experts both locally and internationally, whose expertise aligns with our organisation’s innovation focus areas. You will be at the forefront of shaping healthcare discourse, organising impactful co-learning activities, and curating innovative events that resonate with global audiences.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Engage and connect with industry professionals, thought leaders and experts to build a robust network of faculty members aligned with our innovation focus areas
- Facilitate collaboration between faculty members and internal stakeholders to drive innovation initiatives and projects forward
- Conduct brief research on current topics and trends to support in the production of thought-leadership write-ups, editorial opinions, and other publications
- Demonstrate proficiency in professional and creative writing skills and/or publicity design to implement strategies aimed at enhancing engagement and participation of stakeholders in innovation initiatives
- Organise and facilitate co-learning events and networking sessions to foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge exchange and continuous improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of faculty engagement activities as well as ensuring timeliness of contributions to thought leadership publications and other content outputs
- Prepare and provide timely updates to CHI senior management and relevant funders
Requirements
- Relevant experience in healthcare management, business administration, communications, journalism, publication management or a related field
- Good people engagement skills with strong written and communications skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in designing, planning and executing programmes and projects with successful delivery of outcomes
- Resourceful, proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to details to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Passionate about healthcare innovation, improvement and/or productivity initiatives
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in healthcare is preferred
