Overview 

The role is responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of the Allied Health Professional (AHP) Residency Programme, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational experiences that meet professional standards and support the development of AHP residents. This role requires strong organisational skills, educational expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across clinical and academic settings.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Curriculum Development & Educational Support

  • Assist in designing and updating AHP residency curriculum to align with national standards and healthcare needs
  • Manage educational resources, learning objectives, and assessment criteria

Recruitment & Selection Management

  • Coordinate recruitment strategies to attract candidates from public hospitals and community settings
  • Manage application processes including screening, interviews, and selection activities
  • Maintain recruitment records and monitor resident numbers and completion rates

Residency Posting Coordination

  • Coordinate residency postings across public hospitals and community settings
  • Maintain relationships with academic institutions, clinical providers, and supervisors
  • Match residents to appropriate postings based on learning objectives and career interests
  • Monitor posting quality and ensure compliance with clinical governance standards

Financial Administration

  • Manage disbursement of educational grants to participants
  • Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with funding requirements
  • Process reimbursements and coordinate with finance departments
  • Monitor programme budgets and expenditure

Administrative Support

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for programme operations
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and educational events
  • Maintain programme documentation and prepare stakeholder reports

 

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (healthcare administration, education preferred)
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
