The TTSH Trauma Centre, established in 2001 and elevated to a centre of excellence in 2021, serves as a cornerstone of Singapore's trauma care system. With its pioneering Trauma Registry team leading injury surveillance efforts nationwide, the Centre provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with complex injuries. The Centre continuously enhances its clinical services across the entire trauma care journey, exemplified by initiatives like the dedicated Trauma Ward that brings together doctors, nurses, and therapists to optimise patient recovery through coordinated care pathways. The Centre maintains its commitment to clinical excellence by organising a comprehensive suite of international proprietary courses, ensuring healthcare professionals maintain current skills and meet international standards in trauma care. As the anchor trauma hospital for Singapore's central region, the Centre continues to evolve to further advance trauma care delivery.

 

We are looking for a Sr/Executive to be part of team who is responsible for managing and maintaining the TTSH Trauma Registry, a critical data collection and analysis system that tracks trauma cases and patient outcomes. This role involves data entry, validation, and analysis to support quality improvement initiatives, facilitate research, and enhance trauma care delivery across the hospital.

 

Key Job Scope:

  • Identify and collect trauma-related data and information for the registry.

  • Analyse trauma-related data e.g. interpret trends and quality markers of trauma management.

  • Monitor quality indicators and report any deviation to the Supervisor.

  • Ensure consistency and quality in the data collection system, data integrity and uploading of the data from the registry to MOH.

  • Ensure the timeliness of data capturing and accountability when reporting to MOH and major trauma stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and participate in the care of trauma patients.

  • Help to facilitate the continuity of quality patient care throughout the continuum; pre-hospital, resuscitation, critical care and rehabilitation.

  • Participate actively in and provide support for programmes, projects or events within the Trauma Centre where appropriate or as assigned.
     

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Nursing or healthcare-related fields (e.g. Public Health) preferred.

  • 3 years of working experience, preferably in hospital setting with project / data management and statistical related experience.

  • Valid professional registration e.g. SNB, AHPC will be advantageous.

  • Team player with good organisational, interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/M365 (incl. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Experience in VBA, STATA, SAS, SPSS and/or R or statistical analysis will be advantageous.
