JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Executive / Executive will provide operational and planning support to facilitate the Department’s functions in strategic planning, performance management and strategic fund management, in order to promote the organization’s achievement of the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)’s corporate vision and mission.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

SPECIFIC

  • To support the Department’s Assistant Manager/Manager in the following matters:
  • Development and review of the TTSH strategy and ensure alignment with the National Healthcare Group (NHG) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Develop, update and maintain a hospital-wide performance management framework, including but not limited to the MOH-NHG Governance Documents (particularly the MOH-NHG Master Framework Agreement), NHG Balance Score Card, as well as TTSH strategic indicators and hospital dashboard;
  • Facilitate strategic dialogues with cluster stakeholders on the renewal of the MOH-NHG Master Framework Agreement by collating, reviewing, and aligning benchmarks of key hospital priorities and performance indicators at management level platforms, including but not limited to Senior Management Meeting (SMM);
  • Work through Family Groups, Departments and other key stakeholders to translate hospital/zonal-level priorities and performance indicators into effective Family Group level communications and action plans;
  • Perform a periodic review of key performance indicators and take pre-emptive action with relevant stakeholders;
  • Promote programme evaluation as a critical enabler of the hospital performance evaluation framework.
  • Facilitate hospital-level efforts that help advance and communicate TTSH’s Value Strategy, via undertaking secretariat duties to support strategic platforms such as TTSH Senior Management Meeting (SMM) and 10KV.
  • To support department leadership in the management of the funds available to support the strategies of TTSH;    
  • To facilitate engagement of key stakeholders and leaders to identify strategic initiatives and programmes for funding.
  • To provide support to key events organized and run at the divisional level

  • To be a role model for the corporate vision, mission and values, especially as part of the Corporate Planning team;
  • To be a change agent and inculcate mindset change for hospital-wide/ departmental level initiatives and to establish a working environment of collegiality and effective teamwork; and
  • To undertake any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
