Sr Executive, Business Office

We are seeking a dedicated Business Office Senior Executive to support our Senior/Assistant Manager in developing and implementing comprehensive policies, procedures, and internal controls. This role is essential to ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our Business Office's daily activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Extract and generate statistical reports from billing systems for Medifund and Financial Assistance schemes
• Participate in system projects, including conducting User Acceptance Testing and related activities
• Oversee daily claims processing to ensure patient accounts under Financial Assistance Schemes are handled promptly and efficiently
• Monitor and follow up on claims submissions for Medifund and Financial Assistance schemes
• Review, verify and process patient bills under Medifund and Financial Assistance schemes
• Manage batch billing processes for Medifund and Financial Assistance schemes
• Execute payment postings and conduct bank reconciliations
• Handle billing requests and enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and implement policies and internal controls for all Financial Assistance activities
• Support the preparation of management summaries, reports and statistical analyses
• Provide assistance with patient enquiries and complaint resolution
• Support audit processes by ensuring timely provision of accurate information and documentation to auditors
• Serve as team member or lead for hospital-wide and departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements for implementation

  Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or Accounting with at least 3 years’ experience including 1 year supervisory experience

• Knowledge in some Data Analytics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and a growth mindset  
• Good team player with the ability to build rapport
• Meticulous and observant with an eye for detail
• Able to handle complex and challenging situations
• Experience in healthcare will be an advantage
