Sr Driver
To handle all transportation assignments in a safe, efficient and courteous manner. To maintain a high level of service to internal customers from Transport Department. Assist the Supervisor and HOD in the daily operations of Transport Department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC
• To assist the Supervisor and the Head of Department in ensuring a smooth daily operation for the Transport Department
• To assist Supervisor in rostering for the team to ensure sufficient coverage for daily operations and adequate rest for the drivers
• To assist to train the team to ensure that the drivers are competent in performing their daily role
• To assist in auditing Private Ambulance Operator that provide services to the Transport Department
• To ensure continuous training to develop staff with high potential
• To assist supervisor in maintaining department records (e.g. driving log, servicing reports, checklists, training records, competency checklists, etc.)
• To ensure continuous work improvements, by identifying, implementing and follow-up on process improvements.
• To undertake any other projects as assigned by the management.
(B) GENERAL
• To ensure the drivers uphold the tidiness and cleanliness of the ambulance vehicles
• To assist Supervisor in projects and service improvement activities
• To assist Supervisor in manpower planning and roster for transport and other duties
• To perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or HOD
• To assist Supervisor in training of the drivers
• To double up as a backup driver when necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS
(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
• GCE N level or above
• Team Leader
• Able to display leadership qualities
• Good team player, yet able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic IT literacy
• Supervisory/ administrative experience will be an advantage
(B) PROFESSIONAL LICENCE
• Class 3 and Class 4 driving license with safe and clean record
• Defensive Driving
• CPR AED
ABNORMAL PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITION
• Potential risk of injury due to lifting of patients
• Health risk of being exposed to infectious diseases
• Potential risk of being involved in a vehicular accident
