Job Description:

IMH is seeking an NGEMR Report Builder to support the hospital’s clinical and operational data needs using the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR) system. This role involves designing, developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and analytics solutions using Epic reporting tools. A critical part of the role involves actively engaging end‑users, facilitating requirement‑gathering discussions, and working closely with NHG counterparts and technical teams to ensure that data needs are fully understood and translated into effective reporting solutions. You may also be assigned additional duties by the Reporting Officer.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • To build reports (Epic Reporting Workbench (RWB), Dashboards, SQL-based tools, and other NGEMR reporting functions) and propose solutions to support data needs for the departments within IMH and NHG cluster. The goal is to grow NGEMR it into an information hub where all relevant environmental information and hospital reports can be obtained in a timely, accurate and reliable manner.

 

  • To work closely with business partners at HQ-level and IMH business process owners, by facilitating, reviewing and streamlining reporting requirements to ensure information gaps are addressed. You will be required to go through the necessary NGEMR/EPIC trainings and certifications to build the needed reports in NGEMR. You may have the opportunities to be trained to build in other EPIC modules.

 

  • To explore, facilitate, assess and pilot new technologies and their relevance to the business, as assigned by superiors.

 

 

Requirements:

Competency

Educational and Professional Requirements

 

  1. Preferably Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics or related fields
  2. Strong proficiency in programming, in particular Structured Query Language (SQL).
  3. Experience working in a hospital’s information services/business reporting department, EPIC certifications, or prior experience with NGEMR/EPIC will be an added advantage.
