About HEAL & the Digital Innovation Office

HEAL (Health Empowered by AI Launchpad) is NHG’s flagship programme to drive the safe, impactful, and system-wide adoption of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. Hosted under the Digital Innovation Office (DIO) within the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI), HEAL supports AI initiatives that enhance care delivery, optimise operations, and empower our workforce.

The DIO acts as the enabler and integrator, connecting strategy, delivery, and governance to accelerate innovation across NHG. We operate with startup energy and public service purpose.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Assistant Manager, HEAL Programme Operations (DIO), a sharp, execution-driven team member who ensures the HEAL engine runs smoothly. This role is part secretariat, part ops lead, and part problem-solver.

You’ll coordinate key governance meetings, manage department operations, track progress across AI projects, and help shape a high-performing team culture. It’s a perfect fit for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys making things work behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage secretariat duties for HEAL governance meetings (e.g. JAG Committee): agendas, minutes, action tracking
  • Oversee daily ops: finance, procurement, HR support, vendor coordination
  • Track and maintain dashboards on HEAL projects and AI implementation across NHG
  • Coordinate with institutional leads, enabling functions (Finance, HR, IT), and external partners
  • Support internal operations like retreats, onboarding, HEAL Fridays, and comms
  • Ensure project documentation and follow-through for workplans and KPIs
  • Take on additional duties as required to support HEAL’s mission

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Health Administration, Info Systems, or related field
  • 4–5 years’ experience in ops, secretariat, or programme coordination, ideally within healthcare or public service
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisation and multitasking skills
  • Confident communicator and team player who works well across levels
  • Fast learner, proactive mindset, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Prior secretariat or committee support experience highly valued

  • Join a collaborative, future-facing team that values initiative and ownership
  • Learn at the intersection of strategy, technology, and delivery
  • Work in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment, with strong support and mentorship
