Senior/Executive, P&OD (Organisation Development) (Contract till 29th Aug 2025)

Broad Function

The Executive/ Senior Executive for Organisation Development (OD) shall support Chief, People & Organisation Development, as part of the OD team, to:

  1. Build and sustain an organisational culture that is grounded on trusting relationships, with engagement, enablement and empowerment across different levels of the system to collaborate and co-create better care and a better work place for the WH family;
  2. Develop, implement, improve and reinforce strategies, structures and processes to support the WH vision, culture and key priorities;
  3. Build a resilient, change ready WH with capacity and organisational capabilities to be responsive to evolving healthcare landscape, care models, environmental challenges and opportunities and achieve greater effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Specific

Supporting the OD Team, the incumbent shall be responsible, with guidance for:

  1. OD (as a Process of Change) Interventions
    • Provides planning and support to on OD assignments, with possibility of working with 2 levels of the system;
    • Together with OD Team guidance, he/ she will use the OD Consulting Process, to support the work with stakeholders to understand the challenge/priority on hand, so as to achieve better desired outcomes;
    • Supporting the OD Team to guide the client through parts of the OD Consulting process from contracting to designing and executing of interventions, to evaluation as required;
    • To coordinate, administer and facilitate the evaluation process of the programme/intervention. Supporting data analysis and interpretation of the findings with the relevant parties.

 

  1. Team Coaching
    • To assist the OD team to build and sustain effective, high performing teams in WH;
    • Co-facilitate in team coaching assignments;
    • When working with teams, able to observe dynamics within a group and work with the OD Team Coach to:
      1. Support creating safe environments in which all group members may contribute their voice;
      2. Observe and help to balance and hold the tension between individual and group needs, if needs arise.

 

  1. Capacity and Capability Building
    • Provide support to capacity and capability building of WH to be able to handle change and improvement as an organisation.
    • Contributes to organisation level transformation through the development of content that supports the transformation narrative(s) and communication strategy.

 

  1. Change Management

          Supports the OD Team to:

    • the development and implementation of Change Management projects at organisation level – with a line in sight to the organisation vision, goals, Model of Care and desired culture
    • co-design a plan to effectively support the acceptance and adoption of small-scale change and transitions. Have awareness of change theories and processes (including the psychological impact of change)
    • facilitate and assemble with guidance from OD seniors, a change portfolio that provides a holistic perspective of its collective impact on the organization

 

  1. To be proactive and a contributing member of the OD team.

 

General

  1. Work with the OD team, P&OD team to contribute to cross-cutting projects and organisation wide projects.
  1. Other assignments and projects as assigned by Chief, People & Organisation Development in support of organisation wide initiatives.

 

Job Requirement

Education / Training / Experience

  1. A Bachelor degree in organizational behaviour, psychology, social work, sociology, communications or other related disciplines;
  2. Certificates in established OD programmes will be an added advantage;
  3. Previous background and experience (internship) in healthcare will be an added advantage;
  4. Strong interest and confident in project management;
  5. Previous experience in data management (e.g. surveys etc)
  6. Preferably at least 2 years of related experience in healthcare &/or organisation development capacity for Executive.
  7. Preferably at least 4 years of related experience in healthcare &/or organisation development capacity for Senior Executive.
