Senior/Executive, Clinical Governance & Quality
Job Description
You will support the functions of the Clinical Governance & Quality (CGQ) primarily in the area of clinical quality programmes, hospital policies and processes and secretariat support for committees. In carrying out the various duties, you will be required to work very closely with the senior management, clinical chiefs and doctors, patient care staff and other CGQ staff members.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate Clinical Practice Improvement Programme (CPIP) and its related activities (e.g., competitions, presentations, training, and budgeting).
- Facilitate overseas quality conferences for IMH staff.
- Coordinate and provide secretariat support for Safety Walkabout.
- Liaison between IMH and National Improvement Unit (e.g., Quality talks/forums to various QI practitioners in IMH and coordinate the AHRQ Patient Safety Culture Survey)
- Maintain and update the database of quality improvement projects.
- Liaise with stakeholders to undertake the review of policies for doctors and Medical Board
- Undertake any special projects or initiatives as assigned by the supervisor and/or Head of Department.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and resilience to perform well under pressure.
• Able to write clearly and succinctly using English.
• Able to use Excel to create databases, pivot tables and charts
• Meticulous with a keen eye for details with strong ability to follow up on issues/implementation plans.
• Good interpersonal skills, a team player, and able to communicate with people at all levels including the senior management.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience. Candidate with previous working experience in healthcare is preferred.
