ASSISTANT MANAGER / SENIOR ASSISTANT MANAGER, PEOPLE & ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT (PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT)
JOB PURPOSE
The Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager, People & Organisation Development (People Development) supports the Chief, P&OD and Deputy/Assistant Director in co-creating a collaborative learning environment, building a self-directed learning culture, driving capability development of WH staff, and developing leaders at all levels including talent development.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Talent Development
- Operationalise frameworks and processes to implement talent and leadership development initiatives in WH
- Partner with HR Talent Management team to engage and develop identified talents, ensuring strong leadership pipeline
- Develop and curate learning roadmaps and programmes for leaders at all levels, enabling collective leadership
Programme Evaluation & Impact Measurement
- Co-develop and operationalise WH's assessment and evaluation system for people development programmes
- Monitor programme evaluation and implement systematic reviews for quality control and continuous improvement
Programme Development
- Contribute to programme development for various learning and development needs through in-house development, external curation, or partnerships
- Partner programme owners in curriculum development, andragogical tools, implementation strategies and evaluation including:
- Conducting Learning Needs Analysis
- Designing Learning Roadmaps and Programmes
- Developing Course Materials and Incorporating Learning Technologies
- Programme Evaluation and Review for improvement
- Coordinate and administer programmes with P&OD operations team and stakeholders
- Facilitate programmes where applicable
General Responsibilities
- Support department projects and work with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with P&OD team on cross-team and organisation-wide projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in learning & development, adult learning, leadership and talent development
- Healthcare or learning environment experience preferred
- Prior experience in adult learning facilitation, course design, and identifying learner needs advantageous
- Proficiency in M365 Tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Query)
- Strategic thinking with systems perspective and ability to develop comprehensive frameworks
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills for data analysis and impact measurement
- Excellent stakeholder management and partnership skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Proven project coordination abilities to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with ability to present to various audiences
