Senior Staff Nurse – Invasive Cardiac Lab

As a Senior Staff Nurse in the Invasive Cardiac Lab, you will take on a key operational and clinical role—supporting cardiologists, driving excellence in patient care, and ensuring safe, effective and compassionate service throughout every stage of the procedure.

 

About the Role

As a member of the Invasive Cardiac Lab, you will:

  • Provide specialised, personalised and evidence‑based nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Manage pre‑, intra‑ and post‑procedure care, including patient assessment, preparation, haemodynamic monitoring, and recovery.
  • Support cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team in procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, device implantation and other invasive cardiac interventions.
  • Uphold stringent patient safety standards, infection prevention practices and hospital protocols.
  • Operate advanced clinical and monitoring equipment confidently, ensuring proper usage, handling and maintenance.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical workflow enhancements, and the cultivation of a positive, collaborative team culture within the Cardiac Lab.

 

Requirements

We invite applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Possess a Diploma and/or recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Relevant experience in Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, Coronary Care Unit, ICU, Emergency Department or other acute care areas is an advantage.
  • Additional specialty certifications (e.g., Advanced Cardiac Life Support) are beneficial.
  • Strong clinical judgement, meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clinical excellence.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable in a procedure‑driven setting with rapidly changing clinical needs.
  • Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
