You will function as a key member of a multidisciplinary cardiac team—supporting cardiologists, technologists, and allied health professionals—while contributing to clinical excellence, workflow efficiency, and the optimisation of procedural safety.

Key Clinical Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialised and personalised nursing care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and evidence‑based practices
  • Prepare patients and procedural environments, ensuring safety, sterility, and optimal clinical readiness
  • Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures (e.g., angiography, angioplasty, device implantations) while maintaining strong situational awareness
  • Monitor, assess, and manage patients’ physiological responses throughout the peri‑procedural period
  • Respond effectively to rapid patient changes and emergent clinical situations in a high‑acuity, fast‑paced environment
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with hospital policies, audits, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide patient and family education, delivering information clearly, empathetically, and professionally
  • Uphold safety, quality, and infection‑control standards within the Invasive Cardiac Lab

 

What You Bring to the Organisation

  • Strong clinical competency anchored in nursing education and hands‑on clinical experience, supporting safe and effective care delivery
  • Specialty experience or qualifications (e.g., cardiac nursing, critical care) that enhance the organisation’s ability to manage complex cardiac cases

Mandatory Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
  • Possess a Diploma in Nursing and/or a recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Willingness to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays based on operational needs
  • Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Relevant specialty certification or clinical experience in cardiac care will be an advantage
