Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general radiographic examinations including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and bone mineral densitometry across NHG Health facilities
  • Assist radiologists in advanced imaging procedures and interventional radiology whilst ensuring optimal image quality and maintaining radiation safety standards
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centred care across diverse patient populations and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects, supervise radiography students and junior staff members
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training programmes, contributing to departmental audits and accreditation processes
  • Manage patient scheduling and coordinate urgent examinations, maintain equipment quality control and troubleshooting
  • Participate in rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Job Requirements

  • Recognised Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Registered or eligible for Allied Health Profession Certification (AHPC)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
  • Commitment to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Senior position will be considered for applicants with relevant experience
