Senior / Patient Service Associate (Operating Theatre)
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform required entries in computer systems such as SAP, EMR. Data entry for patient registration, admission, transfer and discharge.
- Perform payment and financial counselling duties for surgical procedures and services.
- Provide support for OT/Endo listing and services
- Print elective listing for Nursing Teams to confirm elective list
- Contact patients on day before procedure to reinforce time to come to Centre for admission and fast instructions accordingly.
- Prioritise and organise patient timings for registration according to the listing.
- Perform booking of outpatient appointment for patients and booking of inpatient beds for patient requiring admission.
- Use the respective Electronic Medical Records system to trace the necessary patient records
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for receipt and invoices of supplies.
- Order, and maintain dry rations and other supplies for patients and NOK.
- Provide general administrative support to the department
- Handle incoming and out-going mails, attend to queries from internal and external parties pertaining to the theatre facilities and services.
- Order, maintain and arrange stationaries and other supplies for departmental use.
- Provide support for pantry and catering supplies and locker management.
- Collaborates and co-operate with other departments and health-care personnel in smooth delivery of patient care and services.
