Senior / Patient Service Associate, Rehabilitation

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide roving patient service duties such as rendering assistance and training to patients in the use of self-service stations for registration or payment, patient applications, way-finding, bill/payment/Medisave claim enquires, as required
• Provide efficient assistance to clinicians during consultations in terms of chaperone, administrative duties, preparing instrument sets for procedures, etc
• Relay doctor’s/therapists’ instructions to patient, schedule appointments, activate relevant provider ranking within the system and ensure all services are billed on a timely basis
• Manage queue in clinic
• Perform parameters taking
• Provide financial counselling and listing for surgeries and admissions, medication supply verification and fall risk education
• Manage phone calls, email enquiries and ensure clinic readiness

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ levels, Professionals Certificate/NITEC or Diploma
• Prior experience in a hospital setting would be an advantage
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
