Senior Manager
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Manager to lead initiatives across business systems, project management, vendor coordination, and operational excellence. This role combines strategic oversight with executional depth in PMO support, business process improvement, and business analysis. You will manage cross-functional teams, drive project success, and ensure continuous improvement of business operations and systems.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business & System Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend process enhancements.
- Support system design, testing, and implementation phases.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities.
2. PMO Support & Project Management
- Lead and support end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation to closure.
- Assist in managing the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring adherence to methodologies, timelines, and budgets.
- Track project progress, update management tools, and provide status reports.
- Develop project documentation including charters, schedules, and risk logs.
- Maintain and update the project portfolio to support prioritization and resource planning.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure projects meet defined success criteria.
3. Business Process Improvement
- Analyze current business processes to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and redesign workflows.
- Implement process improvements, document changes, and support staff training.
- Track effectiveness of changes and recommend further enhancements.
4. Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs, ensuring compliance and performance.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding/offboarding and escalate issues when necessary.
5. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor operational metrics and drive performance improvements.
- Support incident management and root cause analysis.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in change management efforts to support adoption of new processes and tools.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Track risks and issues, and support mitigation planning.
- Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned.
