Senior / Manager, Translational Research Office (NHG Group Research and Innovation)

 

 

This position is responsible for leading the negotiation and management of various research-related agreements, with a focus on clinical trial agreements. This role serves as the key liaison between the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI), institution research offices, clinical research teams, pharmaceutical sponsors, contract research organisations, and other participating research sites whilst ensuring compliance with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the review, negotiation, and execution of agreements
  • Establish standardised templates and processes to streamline multi-site contract negotiations
  • Lead initiatives to optimise agreement turnaround times and maintain institutional KPIs, with a focus on clinical trial agreements
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the contract review process
  • Generate regular reports on turnaround metrics for stakeholders
  • Serves as primary liaison with SCRI for contract harmonisation initiatives and multi-centre trial coordination

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 6-8 years' experience in research contract management, with prior experience in managing clinical trial agreements
  • Good knowledge of ICH-GCP, local and international regulatory requirements
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices and clinical trial operations
  • Prior experience in conducting clinical research is an advantage

This role reports to the Deputy Director, Translational Research Office and works closely with SCRI, NHG Group Legal Office, institution research offices as well as counterparts at other trial participating sites.
