Senior Manager, People & Organisation Development (Organisation Development)
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Manager for Organisation Development (OD) to join our People & Organisation Development (P&OD) team. This pivotal role will collaborate with the Chief of P&OD to cultivate and sustain an organisational culture rooted in trust, engagement, and empowerment. The Senior Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing collaboration and co-creating a better workplace for the WH family, while ensuring our operational strategies align with the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Change Management
- Lead or oversees the development and execution of Change Management initiatives at the organisational level, effectively balancing people-focused engagement with project management.
- Facilitate change management initiatives and assess current development programmes to ensure they align with WH’s vision, goals, and desired culture.
- Support stakeholders in navigating the complexities of change and enhance their change implementation capabilities.
- Design inclusive processes that encourage participation from system members during change initiatives.
- Manage stakeholders across various organisational levels and clusters, ensuring comprehensive engagement and support.
Translational Simulation as a Service
- Spearhead the establishment of Translational Simulation as a service within WH.
- Collaborate with the WH Simulation Committee to strategically develop and oversee the use of translational simulation to enhance health service performance and deliver value-driven care.
- Intervene in system dynamics to improve relationships, team performance, and care interfaces.
- Diagnose systemic issues such as culture, professionalism, and patient experience through simulation.
OD Consultancy Work
- Partner with internal leaders across departments and professional groups to enhance organisational capabilities in managing change and driving improvements.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of people strategies that align with strategic and operational plans.
- Guide clients through the OD consulting process, from contracting to executing and evaluating interventions.
- Utilize data analysis to support clients in making informed decisions and planning actionable steps.
- Facilitate the development of evaluation plans to measure the success of programmes and identify improvement areas.
General Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other P&OD leads on cross-cutting organisational projects.
- Work alongside NHG OD practitioners to contribute to cluster-level initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in organisational behaviour, psychology, social work, sociology, communications, or related field; healthcare experience is an advantage.
- A postgraduate qualification in OD/Organisational Psychology or certificates in established OD programmes are preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based and data-informed interventions.
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing projects at various organisational levels.
- Strong project management and facilitation skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complexity.
- Lateral thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for research and continuous learning.
- Proficient writing and analytical skills.
- Resourcefulness and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong leadership abilities and mentorship qualities.
- Comfortable with long working hours at time and may require to run workshops or event on weekend as requested.
