Senior Executive/Executive, Preventive Health

The Senior Executive, Preventive Care will provide support for the strategic and financial planning, business development and project management of the Preventive Health Centre(s) [Hub and Spokes]. Preventive health services is provided in alignment with national strategies such as Healthier SG, Age Well SG and GrowWell SG.

 

The scope shall include but not limited to supporting the Assistant Director (AD) of Preventive Health to drive the development of department/division strategies, developing financial plans and facilitating discussion to empower Preventive Health Department to implement the plans, resource acquisitions, internal/external stakeholder management as well as overseeing the execution with accountability for the approved milestones/budgets/timelines and in compliance with directions given by NHG leadership.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support AD in strategic and financial planning, business development, and project management of NHG Preventive Health Centre(s).
  • Build financial models of centre services with inputs from internal and external stakeholders as well as market research to inform the centre’s strategic planning.
  • Translate approved Preventive Health strategies into implementation.
  • Build trust, deepen relationships and manage stakeholders to smoothly fulfil the aforesaid areas of responsibilities.
  • Oversee administrative, reporting, budgeting, management approvals, presentations, procurement, agreement and other related works under Preventive Health department.
  • Build and maintain harmonious working relationships and good teamwork among colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Provide secretariat support for Population Health Campus and Community Care related meetings/training sessions. Duties include (but not limited to) scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing meeting materials, minutes taking, circulation of agendas/reports/approved minutes and follow through of agreed action items.
  • Oversee, supervise and appraise the performance of any subordinates and develop subordinates in the course of work.
  • To lead and undertake any other specific projects/tasks as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Possess a recognised degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting with at least 3 - 5 years of working experience preferred.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in financial modelling, business development and healthcare will be an added advantage.
  • Possess excellent communication (spoken and written), interpersonal and co-ordination skills, resourceful and able to work in ambiguous situations with a can-do attitude.
  • Possess a positive, proactive working attitude and able to multitask and manage various tasks concurrently with specific timelines.
  • Strong project management and administrative skills also required, together with, good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment both independently and as a team player.
  • Proficient in full suite of Microsoft Office tools - Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio.
