Senior Executive/Executive, Emergency Preparedness - Disease Outbreak (EP-DO)
As the Senior Executive/Executive, Emergency Preparedness – Disease Outbreak (EP-DO) in the NCID Executive Director’s Office, you will support the Manager, EP-DO in projects and operations aimed at ensuring disease outbreak preparedness and response at both the hospital/campus and national levels. You will play an active role in the:
- Development and maintenance of disease outbreak plans and standard operating procedures;
- Planning and implementation of readiness activities including training and exercises;
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to build and ensure system readiness;
- Providing secretariat support to relevant committees, workgroups and programmes;
- Development and enhancement of disease outbreak capabilities in NCID;
- As part of the core NCID operations command centre (NOCC), respond to outbreak incidents and exigencies.
Requirements
- Possess a degree in any discipline, preferably in Science or Public Health.
- Preferably 1 - 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare or public service.
- Experience in project management, operations planning and/or policy planning is a plus.
- Able to be rostered for on-call duties and deployed for shift duties during exigencies.
- Good team player, interpersonal, and communications skills, and able to work effectively with all levels of staff.
