Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Buying to manage end‑to‑end sourcing, purchasing, and category management for healthcare merchandise across both physical stores and digital channels. The role requires strong commercial acumen, supplier management skills, and experience in omnichannel retail—especially e‑commerce.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sourcing and purchasing high‑quality healthcare merchandise at optimal cost, evaluating suppliers on price, quality, service, and reliability, and making informed buying decisions for assigned product categories.
  • Develope and executing purchasing and category strategies, actively sourcing new products, negotiating trading terms, and setting competitive pricing to drive sales and profitability across both physical stores and digital channels.
  • Planning and managing omnichannel merchandising and promotional activities, optimizing online visibility, and driving performance on platforms such as the NHG Pharmacy website and marketplaces.
  • Monitoring of category performance, analysis of sales and market trends, and implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Managing supplier documentation, resolving discrepancies, analysing data for insights, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  • Staying abreast of industry and technological developments, driving cost‑savings measures, supporting workplace improvement projects, and guiding junior team members.

 

Requirements

  • Min. Degree with 2 years of relevent procurement professional
  • IT Savvy
  • Experience in driving cost‑savings measures, supporting workplace improvement projects, and guiding junior team members.
  • Experience in online retail, digital merchandising, and e‑commerce growth strategies will be an added advantages.
