Senior / Executive (Medical Affairs / Clinical Governance), Clinical Services
Broad Function
The role of the Executive (Medical Affairs / Clinical Governance), Clinical Services, is to plan, execute and support the functions of the Clinical Services Office. He/She will work closely with the Chairman, Medical Board, Deputy Director, Clinical Services, Clinical Heads, other staff members of Clinical Services, internal and external stakeholders.
The Executive will also have the opportunity to participate in other roles within the Clinical Services office for growth and development (e.g. projects, clinical programme management, licensing, service development).
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Specific
- Drive professional matters for Medical staff including managing Visiting Consultant appointments, and Service and Quality Component processes, in close collaboration with Human Resources.
- Manage the credentialing & privileging (C&P) application and recredentialing process within Woodlands Health, including maintaining the privileging databases and provide secretariat support to the C&P committee.
- Manage the clinical governance processes and providing guidance on setup and reporting by Clinical Board subcommittees.
- Manage WH intranet and WH Internet and their scope which are under Clinical Services’s purview (e.g. Duty roster, doctors’ profiles)
- Manage doctors related matters, including secretariat support to the Junior Doctors’ Committee, management of call rooms and doctors’ events (e.g. Doctors’ Night, feedback sessions).
- Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate/work on the development or update of Clinical Services’ policies and work instructions.
- Administrative support the strategic development and implementation of clinical programmes at Woodlands Health (WH), including development of policies, guidelines, workflows and care paths, and secretariat duties.
General
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Medical Board and/or Deputy Director, Clinical Services.
- Participate in meetings or events run by Clinical Services, including secretariat duties where required.
3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 1-3 years of related experience
- Experience in related areas (e.g. healthcare, clinical operations/services, medical affairs, audit) would be advantageous
- Able to multi-task and with good project management skills
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills
- Possess a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Tech and data savvy, and proficient with systems thinking
- Meticulous, positive attitude and willing to learn
