Broad Function

Be part of the team to support functions like Financial Counseling, Deposit Monitoring and Accounts Receivable.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Specific

Oversee and Support a team of lnflight Financial Advisors:

    1. Ensure all patients admitted are financially counselled as per PHMC Act.
    2. Establish the financial counseling (FC) framework and trains all financial counselors of the organization
    3. Ensure compliance with the ministry guidelines and policies pertaining to the MOH financing schemes.
    4. Provide monthly report to the management on FC related statistics
    5. Manage team's coverage to ensure daily operations are not affected
    6. Enhance the operational efficiency of the infiight patient collections
    7. Schedule staff for training to ensure they have adequate skillset to perform their tasks
    8. Ensure Departmental Policies and Procedures are updated.

 

Oversee and Support Accounts Receivable (AR) team:

  1. Manage team's coverage to ensure daily operations are not affected
  2. Review and monitor 1FSS and collection agencies on collection progress and ensure they comply with the necessary guidelines stipulated by MOH/Organization
  3. Review and analyze AIR trends, ensure timely reporting of AR related information to the management
  4. Review the work processes and ensure sound internal controls are in place.
  5. Schedule staff for training to ensure they have adequate skillset to perform their tasks
  6. Ensure Departmental Policies and Procedures are updated.

 

General

  1. Participate actively in Improvement/IT Projects organized by Organization
  2. Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business or the equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks to meet timeline
  • Self-motivated with strong interest in leaning and analytical mind
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Service-oriented and customer-focused
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications and working knowledge in SAP preferred
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve problems within established parameters in a challenging environment
