Senior / Executive, Patient Billing Services (1 Year Contract)

Broad Function

Be part of the WH Patient Billing Services team to:

1. review and implement Billing and Receipting related processes
2. perform quality assurance testing of our billing system ensuring accurate and timely billing to patients

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Specific

Support a team of billing and receipting staff:

1. 1. Ensure bills and claims are generated timely and accurately, payment received, and financial postings are reconciled
   2. Pick up any inconsistencies or erroneous bills and troubleshoot system errors
   3. Perform end to end testing of fixes in system staging environment before deployment to production, including coming up with different scenarios to test fixes holistically
   4. Work with stakeholders from other departments on policy changes or hospital initiatives to ensure processes are sound and system set-up is in place
   5. Ensure compliance with Ministry guidelines and policies pertaining to the various MOH financing schemes
   6. Extract and analyse large volume of data for management reporting, providing insights on data and potential areas of improvement
   7. Enhance operation efficiency of the billing and receipting team

General

1. Participate actively in Improvement/IT Projects organized by Organization
2. Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer

Job Requirement

Education / Training / Experience

1. 1. Degree in Business/IT or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience for Executive
   2. Degree in Business/IT or the equivalent with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience for Senior Executive
