Broad Function
The role of the Senior Executive or Executive, Office of Clinical Informatics, is to plan, execute and be the points of contact for the functions of the office. He/she will work closely with the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and the Assistant Director, OCI and other clinicians and stakeholders in improving patient care through the application of clinical informatics.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Specific

  • Coordinate and support the planning and implementation of Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) for WH Go-Live, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Guide the executives and/ or more junior members of OCI to support specific Functional Groups (e.g. Community, Inpatient care, Outpatient care) and/or horizontal areas (e.g. Lab, Radiology, Finance) within NGEMR as part of the implementation work.
  • Plan, coordinate and be the point of contact for assigned areas relating to NGEMR implementation (including testing, training and change management, full-dress rehearsals) and/ or other OCI functions (including data and analytics, downtime, and incident response).

General

  • Provide support when needed to other OCI functions apart from primary assigned scope of work and secretariat and coordination support to any workshops or meetings organised by OCI.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Medical Board and/or Assistant Director, OCI.

 

Job Requirements

 

Education / Training / Experience

i.  General degree. Good honours preferred.

ii. Minimum 2 years in a healthcare or informatics setting.

iii. Experience or qualifications in informatics, NGEMR (EPIC), data-science, analytics, project management, change management and/or healthcare administration advantageous.
