Senior Executive, Inpatient

The job holder shall be responsible in assisting with the planning and implementing of new medical programmes and services for the patient care continuum in YCH to the community as well as to support the strategic priorities of KTPH & YCH.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A)          SPECIFIC (80%)

1)            Assist in the development, implementation and sustaining of new and existing clinical programmes, strategic priorities and the required supporting systems for data generation and analysis for inpatient processes.

2)            Assist in connecting and collaborating with the relevant partners both internal and external organisations to implement new inpatient service programmes.

3)            Coordinate with the respective departments and provide the necessary secretariat support for scheduled and ad-hoc management meetings as well as visits from any external institutions.

4)            Collate and analyse key performance indicators and statistical reports related to inpatient processes.

5)            Provide support to respective Head / Deputy Head / manager of clinical and other administrative departments on improvement initiatives as well as work processes.

6)            Assist in the development and implementation of protocolised AH-CH pathways.

7)            Provide support to various projects and activities that streamline work processes and increase productivity.

8)            Work with Synapxe and offices governing IT systems for the development, roll out and refinement of hospital information systems such as NGEMR.

9)            Responsible for identifying, monitoring and controlling risks arising from inpatient-related processes.

10)         Manage patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.

 

(B)          GENERAL (20%)

1)            Support the alignment of the department’s goals with YCH goals.

2)            Support staff development and learning.

3)            Support corporate activities.

4)            Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(A)          EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

 

•              Good degree related to healthcare

•              At least 2 years' experience in service industry / healthcare related areas

•              Prior knowledge of hospital operations and administration areas will be a bonus

•              Possess positive attitude, initiative and keenness to learn.

•              Possess strong analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills

•              Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including use of Word and Powerpoint for management meetings as well as use of Excel for statistical analysis
