*** This is a full-time position offered on an employment contract till 31 March 2027, with the possibility of renewal/extension based on performance and organisational needs.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSEMaintains the hospital National Trauma Registry and all quality assurance issues related to the Trauma Registry. He / she is responsible for entering data into the registry system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in handling of all trauma related matters. |
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC (80%)
- Implement Processes for Trauma Registry

- Perform trauma case screening on a daily basis
- Collect the required trauma data, perform injury coding and enter data onto the National Trauma Registry
- Conduct 6- and 12-month follow-up outcome interviews via telephone
- Perform routine data quality and completeness checks to ensure accurate trauma volume captured
- Participate in routine data validation and data cleaning
- Generate trauma data reports for data requestors
- Assist in the review of the trauma registry criteria, data requirements, abstraction guidelines, etc.
- Involve in system enhancement testing and reporting of system errors on the database
(B) GENERAL (XX%)
- Clinical Governance / Audit

- Participate in annual trauma audits (e.g. mortality, injury coding and data reliability audits, etc.)
- Research
2.1 Participate in trauma-related and injury prevention research activities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- A good Degree in Nursing (Singapore Registered Nurse), Allied Health or Biomedical Sciences and its related field
- At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in clinical or hospital setting
- Familiar with MS Office applications
- Experience in registry data and knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous
- Meticulous and enjoys working with data
Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
