Senior / Executive, Clinical Operations (Medicine)

  1. JOB PURPOSE
  1. Support Clinical Departments within the Division of Medicine with development of services and processes to ensure safe and efficient care for the patients

 

  1. Work with Inpatient Operations team to drive the following areas, namely,
  1. Clinical and Non-Clinical Workflows
  2. Operations Readiness and Set-Up for Day 1
  3. Procurement

 

 

  1. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES`

 

Specific

  1. Main Work Streams
  1. Clinical and Non-Clinical Workflows

Support the development and implementation of Division of Medicine clinical services, programs and care paths with clinicians and partners. These include:

    • Model of care development
    • Planning and innovating clinical operations to implement new care models
    • Infrastructure, manpower, analytics, technology and other requirements needed to implement the care model

 

  1. Operations Readiness and Set-Up for Day 1
  • Support the development of inpatient wards extraction, clinical manpower extraction and migration plans from WHC’s pre-operations host-sites by working with multiple clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of the extraction and migration plans and that patient care and staff migration is seamless and hassle-free.
  • Review design and architectural documents for facilities, as well as review equipment and instrument requirements to ensure compliance with inpatient ward service requirements, clinical and non-clinical needs.
  • Support the planning of medical and non-medical equipment requirements and procurement, and in line with the inpatient services and campus opening plan.
  • Coordinate and review the fitting out, training, defect, handover, rectifications, installations and supplying of procured equipment and supplies for inpatient wards.
  • Review, develop and conduct Table-Top Exercises and rehearsals in line with workflows developed for inpatient wards to prepare for Campus Opening.
  • Support the preparation activities required for the licensing of the Campus in accordance to our Campus opening plan, which includes the set up relevant IT and financial systems.

 

  1. Procurement
  • Administrative and secretariat support for purchase related activities for medical and non- medical equipment including hospital wide standardization of equipment, integration between equipment and workflows, as well as management of funds
  • Writing of proposal papers to facilitate approval of various stages such as pre-sourcing, evaluation and award
  • Management of timelines to ensure timely follow-up and closure of key action items

 

General

  1. Where directed by Reporting Officer, and/or Director, Medicine & Community /Inpatient Ops, to support in other WHC-related projects and tasks.

 

Job Requirement

  1. University Degree
  2. At least 2 years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an operations or service background for Executive. At least 4 years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an operations or service background for Senior Executive
  3. Healthcare experience is a bonus
