Senior / Accountant, Finance

Broad Function

Responsible for monthly financial reporting & analysis, budgets tracking & utilization, annual budgeting, forecasting and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Involve in monthly financial closing and analysis of financials for Income and Expenditure (I/E) and Balance Sheet (B/S) statements
• Involve in annual external and internal audits by working with Finance Shared Services and Users for queries and information requested by auditors
• Involve in annual tax review by working with Finance Shared Services and Users for queries and information requested by tax agent
• Review and approve purchases
• Update and maintain finance policies, workflows and working instructions
• Assist in financial assessment of shortlisted vendors
• Involve in annual budget and regular forecasting process
• Participate in system enhancements / implementations to align with new statutory or operational requirements
• Involve in ad hoc projects as and when assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in Finance / Accounting
• Able to work independently and proactive in resolving problems
• Team player and good organisational skills
