JOB SUMMARY

  • Lead evaluation of all arms and activities of Project, working under direction of Project Lead
  • Drives preparation, conduct, analysis and translation of research activities to guide development and evaluation of project solutions, in conjunction with Project Lead.  
  • Supports Project Lead/ Manager in drafting and collation of information for progress reports to funders and stakeholders.
  • Leads critical evaluation of literature related to project.
  • Drives drafting of manuscripts and scientific reports under direction of Project Lead.
  • Identifies potential platforms for sharing and dissemination of findings e.g. conferences, journals to publish in.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

SPECIFIC

  • Lead evaluation activities for Project
  • Provides oversight and leadership over all evaluation activities and plans over Project across all sites.
  • Leads critical evaluation of literature associated with Project.
  • Leads application of research ethics submissions, working together with partnering bodies
  • Leads collaborations with healthcare and academic partners together with Project Lead to produce research studies under direction of Project Lead.
  • Leads interviewing of key stakeholders of Project, coding and analysis of interviews.
  • Guides Research Assistant and additional personnel supporting research activities, ensuring activities are in compliance with Singapore guidelines and regulations by governing bodies.
  • Leads design, execution, analysis and dissemination of research studies to evaluate Project.
  • Project’s primary point of contact for audits by Institutional Review Board and Health Services Authority. 
  • Leads dissemination and sharing of findings to stakeholders and scientific communities including publications in scientific journals.
  • Apply for competitive grant(s) to expand and grow Project as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Masters’/PhD qualification in nursing, social sciences, healthcare, public health or related discipline 
  • Experienced leader of research team and/or lab
  • Experienced in the conduct of qualitative/quantitative research and data analysis including relevant publications
  • Experience in successful completion of research and evaluation projects
