Research Fellow
Roles and responsibilities
- Design and lead data analysis for projects related to ophthalmology
- Contribute to strategic planning for the group's research initiative
- Lead and write high-impact scientific manuscripts and research grant proposals to secure funding for ongoing and future projects
- Provide mentorships to junior researchers and students in the team on analytical approaches, writing and any task assigned by PI
- Coordinate and work with overseas and local collaborators on the different projects
- Prepare grant applications, manuscript submissions and any manuscript-related administrative task
- And/ or other study-related task given by the PI
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Basic Sciences, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in quantitative and/ or qualitative research methodologies
- Ability to initiate and manage multiple research studies
- Experience in manuscript and grant writing would be advantageous
- Familiar with statistical software applications and or qualitative analytic software
- Able to work in a multidisciplinary team and is highly motivated to work independently
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Good attitude and character
