Research Fellow

Roles and responsibilities

• Design and lead data analysis for projects related to ophthalmology 
• Contribute to strategic planning for the group's research initiative 
• Lead and write high-impact scientific manuscripts and research grant proposals to secure funding for ongoing and future projects
• Provide mentorships to junior researchers and students in the team on analytical approaches, writing and any task assigned by PI
• Coordinate and work with overseas and local collaborators on the different projects 
• Prepare grant applications, manuscript submissions and any manuscript-related administrative task
• And/ or other study-related task given by the PI

Qualifications: 

• Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Basic Sciences, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence
• Experience in quantitative and/ or qualitative research methodologies
• Ability to initiate and manage multiple research studies
• Experience in manuscript and grant writing would be advantageous
• Familiar with statistical software applications and or qualitative analytic software
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary team and is highly motivated to work independently
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Good attitude and character
