Job scope

1. Work closely with the principal investigator (PI), collaborator and other research support staff to execute ongoing project and to develop new research projects and grant proposal.

2. Assist with the manuscript preparation for submission to journals through literature review, data analysis, and drafting of manuscripts.

3. Prepare research grant applications under the direction of researchers, including performing necessary literature review, advising on study design, and coordinating inputs from research collaborators.

4. Liaise with collaborators to bridge clinical and scientific information in order to integrate both into new and ongoing projects.

5. Contribute to knowledge generation, knowledge exchange and knowledge transfer activities.

6. To help the team with biostatistics as and when need be and also with basic computational skills on one of the AI platforms ( not mandatory, but desirable)

Requirements

1. PhD or Masters (Minimum Requirement) degree in Life Science or equivalent related to sciences.

2. Good knowledge in data science or image analysis would be preferred.

3. Minimum 2 years of working experience in academic or clinical research projects.

4. Prior publication track records in good scientific journals would be advantageous.

5. Proficient in at least one statistical software package (e.g. SPSS, Stata, R).

6. Experienced in grant administration and grant writing.

7. Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.

8. Proficient in data and image analysis.

9. Good written and oral English communication skills
