Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Assist and support Principal Investigators in their clinical research activities (starting from study start-up till study end including study closure activities) such as:
  2. Recruit patients in the clinic and assist in screening, recruitment and consent taking of participants.
  3. Follow up on studies required visits and procedures including data and biospecimen collection via venepuncture
  4. Perform sample processing (e.g. buffers preparation, centrifugation, aliquoting) 
  5. Ensure lab safety, maintain equipment, and manage biospecimen inventory levels. 
  6. Manage research data, data entry, data cleaning 
  7. Perform literature review and assist in writing research papers for publication and conference presentation.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Life Sciences, Nursing, Psychology
  • Certificate of Phlebotomy and has experience in performing venepuncture for blood specimen collection is necessary
  • Working experience in academic or clinical research would be advantageous
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
