Research Asst
Job Summary:
The Research Assistant will assist the PI(s) in conducting, coordinating and implementing all aspects of clinical research under the Ng Teng Fong (NTF) Healthcare Innovation Programme (HIP) – Innovation track projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the investigators in clinical research activities which includes study start-up, screening and recruiting study subjects, following-up with study subjects and study closure activities.
- Ensure that study and study procedures are conducted in accordance to the protocol approved by the institution review board.
- Ensure project documents are well-maintained and up to date, adhering to protocols, HBRA and GCP guidelines.
- Ensure the safety of clinical research subjects and report any Adverse Events, Serious Adverse Events and Regulatory Contraventions to the investigators, sponsors and regulatory authorities as appropriate.
- Conduct study related imaging procedures, inclusive of Digital photography and 3D imaging scans using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) of lesions on the foot. Training will be provided.
- Liaise with external vendors during the course of the study.
- Ensure proper storage of data extracted from the Electronic Medical Records for the purpose of the study.
- Monitor and manage the financial aspects of the assigned study and provide regular updates to the investigator and study team.
- Ensure timely submission of progress report to the relevant agencies and authorities and renewal of ethics application when necessary.
- Prepare progress reports and updates and ensure timely submissions in line with grant requirements.
- Coordinate and assist with other research related activities.
Job Requirements:
- Fresh Diploma/Degree graduates in Sciences or Nursing are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Have strong organizational and effective communication skills.
- Have an interest in research. Relevant experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
